FAQ — Frequently Asked QuestionsYes, it's called a Motel.
Yes, it's called a Motel.
No, it's not on a highway.
It's 40 meters from one of the world's best ski lifts. We just never felt the need to call it anything fancier.
The Name
Why is it called a Motel?
Because that is what it is. A Motel in the heart of the Arlberg — 40 meters from the Albona lift. The name is a deliberate choice. No pretension, no false promises. If you know what you want — to wake up early and catch the first lift — you are in the right place.
Is the Arlberg Motel a budget hotel?
It is the most affordable property in the Mondschein Collection — right next to Austria's largest ski resort. If you would rather spend your money on the slopes than on the room, book here.
Who took the room photographs?
The room photographs are the work of Vorarlberg artist Uwe Jaentsch. He photographed the rooms — and zoomed the view so close to the window that the church of Stuben suddenly appears within arm's reach. Everything is real. Only the perspective is different. Just like the Motel itself — real, honest, but not quite what you expected.
